Those aspects are forgotten amongst us,
and many landscapes are lost as the time goes by.
A lifestyle appreciating the warmth of people, nature and culture.
<People> Touching clear and modest hearts.
<Time> Spending at ease without resistance.
<Food> Enjoying delicacies of the season.
<Entertainment> Appreciating the nature unique to the land.
Reviving this beautiful, unique Japanese lifestyle in the present world.
The concept of our guest house is the 'Everyday Japanese Lifestyle' created with the local people of Izumisano.
The house of a family who used to be fishermen was renovated in April 2018. This guesthouse for long term stays is located just minutes from Kansai Airport.
After arriving at Kansai International Airport, you can arrange a rental car and leave your many luggage at the guesthouse with a parking lot to enjoy sightseeing in the rich nature areas of Senshu, Hannan, Wakayama, and Nara, as well as Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe, all with “empty‐handed” to spare. You can also rent a camper and head for Mt. Fuji, Miyajima in Aki, or Shikoku.
The guesthouse is a two-story house with a floor plan unique to Japan.
The living room, kitchen, and dining room are perfect for family gatherings, and are furnished with sofas from the famous Japanese furniture manufacturer “Karimoku. In addition, there are three bedrooms with tatami mats and one bedroom that can accommodate up to 11 people.
In order to allow guests to enjoy a similar experience to the original Japanese daily life, we do not provide video games or any other entertainment. We would like to ask you to be considerate of our neighbors, as we value the “Japanese way of life” above all else.
Our guest house
The house does not provide meals, but there are many izakaya and cafes popular among the locals.
Here are the places we recommend. Those are the places approved by a famous photographer that has seen all of Japan!
